Yorkgate is your ideal English Country-style home. Frank Snodgrass of Living Concepts created this beautiful two-story home with three bedrooms, three full baths, and a powder room, totaling just shy of 3,500 square feet.
Come inside –
A foyer opens onto a grand room with a fireplace. This is your family room, the ideal spot for your favorite holiday décor and as the central hub for entertainment. Doors here lead out to the long, covered terrace where you can enjoy outdoor dining, hang out with your friends, or sit and watch the sunrise and sunset.
The kitchen and eating area do not create an open floor plan to the family room. If you like to cook or bake, you’ll appreciate the extra counter and storage space you gain by not having an open layout.
To the left of the front door are stairs, in the turret, that lead up to the second floor. A formal dining room, to the left of the stairs, awaits Sunday dinners with your family and friends. Next to that is a powder room.

Garages and Second Entry
Between the powder room and the kitchen is another set of stairs leading to the second floor.
If you have a golf cart, a boat, kids that drive, or a classic car, there is a third garage space, next to the two-car garage. Beyond the 3rd garage is a small, covered patio.
In the space by the second stairway and garage, another formal door leads outside. None of the garages offer a service door to the outside.

Right side –
The right side of the house is where you find the laundry room and the main bedroom suite. A fireplace in the corner is located next to a door to the long, covered terrace.
There are two walk-in closets, so if you really like clothes, want more space for shoes and handbags, or have a partner who wants their own space, this will work for you.

Upstairs
Remember, two sets of stairs lead up here. If you head up from the door near the garage, you’ll find a large bonus room on the left. This space is so large that you can put a desk/office, a large screen for movie watching, and still have room for free weights and a recumbent bike. This room also has a full bath.
At the top of the stairs from the foyer, there is a small sitting area and a balcony overlooking the family room. Next, are two bedroom suites that have a Jack-and-Jill bathroom (between the two bedrooms, accessible from each).
