Hi. Even if you still have children living at home, stay here….Read about Verona. She’s a great home. Yes, she is a single story, but she’s a family one, if that’s what you are looking for. If you are downsizing, she’s right for you, too. Read on, she’s ready to show you.
This is one charming Craftsman/Cottage style home for certain. See the natural materials: wood and cedar-shake siding? Classic Craftsman. Frank Snodgrass at Living Concepts knows what you want. Verona has almost 2200 square feet. With three bedrooms, three full baths, and a powder room, plus a bonus room, you can have a family, have overnight guests, and room to spare.

Hello –
Step onto your front porch, and you’ll find the right spot for rocking chairs, a little table, and a pot of fragrant herbs. Then, through the front doors and into your foyer, where a soft area rug, a side table with a lamp, and artwork welcome you. Notice the front closet – finally, a foyer with a closet. You will love this for guest jackets, your umbrellas, your coats, and outdoor shoes. Don’t forget to add a blanket in here to quickly grab when you go sit on the front porch at night.

Left of foyer, Right of foyer & Accouterments
The master suite sits to the left of the foyer, which we will get to later… so, to the right, are a powder room, a pantry (across from the kitchen), and the service entry from the garage. Your laundry room is back here to and it’s large. You have one wall open for shelving, drying racks, and a hanging cabinet if you’d prefer. There is another long closet back here, too.
This back entry also has a stairway that leads to a bonus room above the garage.
The two-car garage can double as the space where you pot plants, work on the cars, or both. There is a workspace/workshop area here with a lot of counter space and thus, under-counter cabinetry.

Bonus Space
Above the garage is a long bonus room. If you have older kids at home, this might be their space or a bedroom. Maybe this is your office/theater/quiet room where you get away from everyone. Whatever you decide, this space offers a multitude of uses.

Master Suite
Let’s go back into the house and head to the far-left side. Your daily hello and nightly respite begin and end here. This room begs for a large bed with soft, enveloping linens, statement lighting, and a few books on your nightstand.
I bet you appreciate the single-vanity sinks – there are two so no getting in the way of another person in the morning, or while brushing your teeth.
Like a refreshing, tepid shower? It’s here. Prefer a warm, deep soak in a tub? Gotcha covered here, too. And, of course, there is privacy in the commode space. Imagine soft greens, blues, and pearly tiles as accents to a rich, warm flooring color.
Last in this retreat is the walk-in closet.

Family Room, Kitchen, and Covered Lanai
Finally, we get to heart-beat central. This is where the house happens – family gatherings, laughs, news watching, Sunday sports, holidays, and so much more. I hope your kitchen always smells yummy, because the scents will waft into the eating and family room. This is ‘open floor-plan’ perfection. A fireplace centers the space and will be appreciated on cool nights.
Your kitchen has a large island that can double as a breakfast and snack eating area, or a place to sit and do homework.

Suites 2 and 3
On the right side of the home are two bedroom suites. Each of these bedrooms has its own full bath and walk-in closet. Maybe one bedroom has soft floral wallpaper and cozy textures. The other, maybe a fun geometric pattern and gold accents to create a hip vibe.

Isn’t this a great single-story home? It’s yours to bring life, energy, and comfort to – and it’s waiting for you. Verona – she’s yours.
