The Vandora Plan-Traditional, Open

The Vandora Plan-Traditional, Open by Living Concepts is contained within 4113 square feet and yet feels like so much more! The home has two stories plus a basement. There are four bedrooms, four full baths and one powder room. There is also the option to close off the guest room in the basement for another bedroom.

As seen in the photo above, the home’s exterior is stone and stucco. The two-car garage is on the left. The open plan? Let’s explore by looking at each floor plan.

   The Basement

First, with the exception of the outdoor storage and the bathroom, the basement is entirely open. The outdoor storage has double doors on the right side. Then, walking counterclockwise, the guest area is next on the basement plan. This area includes a walk-in closet, as well as a full bath with a sink, toilet and shower/bathtub combination. While the sleeping area is not closed off, that could be done easily with a wall that is strategically planned. Your home, your choice!

Then, the guest area also has a door going out onto the covered patio. Another door from this patio takes you into the truly spacious recreation room. Cabinets on the left side of this room will hold all of your gaming needs except for the very large items. Stairs going up to the first floor are on the left. Finally, the game room is in the left corner of the basement.

   The First Floor

First, you can enter the garage (on foot) with the door on its left side. The entrance into the first floor is found on the back wall. Then, you are immediately in the laundry/mud room. A reach-in closet is right ahead. The laundry room even has a space for a utility sink. Next, walking ahead towards the back, you are in the kitchen. A walk-in pantry is on your left. On your right, though, you will find the powder room as well as a small reach-in closet and stairs that go down into the basement. The kitchen has an island and a peninsula (an L-shaped counter space). This one separates the kitchen from the family room.

The kitchen’s double sink is beneath a window and the cooktop is on your island. Then, when you are in the family room, stairs that go up to the second floor are on your right. A wet bar is just around the corner from the stairs. The family room has a fireplace centered on the left wall. Shelves on either side make storage an easy task. Finally, the breakfast room is here, too. It has a door to your large, open deck.

The Rest of the First Floor

First, you enter the Vandora using the front entryway. Once inside, your more-formal dining room is on your right. Trust me, you will want this space for those celebratory meals, even if they are not weekly ones. The dining room is open to the grand room (which also flows into the breakfast and family rooms. I did state it was an open plan, right?). Finally, the grand room also has access to the bar as well as a door that goes out onto that spacious deck.

   The Second Floor

First, the master bedroom and bath are on this floor as well as three other bedroom suites. The master suite is tucked into the far-left corner of the home. A few steps up, and you are in nearly 250 square feet of a blank palette. Why? Your choice, your home! The master bath is nearby. It has two sinks, separated by the door, an enclosed toilet, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower.

Then, three more bedroom suites can be found upstairs. Suite #4, on the right side of the home, has a reach-in closet and its own bath, which includes a single sink, toilet and a shower/bathtub combination. Next, suites #2 and #3 share a bath, which has two sinks, an enclosed toilet and a shower/bathtub combination. It also has a small space for your bathroom linens. Both bedrooms have their own walk-in closet. Finally, there is one more reach-in closet adjacent to suite #2- the perfect place for those overflow necessities you do not want to have to run downstairs to get.
