The Tarrington Plan: European Home

The Tarrington Plan: European Home by Living Concepts has two stories with two garages on the left side. A cupola and multiple finials on the roof seem to be reaching for the sky. Stone and stucco complete the exterior. At the same time, the front of the home invites you in.

Inside, there are two powder rooms, four full bathrooms and five bedrooms. There are multiple areas for work and play, as well as a finely tuned exterior, as seen in the photo below.

The area for outdoor entertaining could easily be extended from the covered terrace by adding a patio. Your home, your choice!

    First the Garages

First, there are two garages on the left side of the home. The one-car garage is more towards the front of the home. It might be the perfect spot to over-winter a recreational vehicle, land or water. Its entrance into the home is closest to the garage door. It also has an enclosed shower and sink. Need to wash the dog? Your feet, perhaps? Then this is the spot for that!

Next is the two-car garage. Besides the entrance into the home, it also has a door on the far wall. This leads to a terrace that nearly extends the length of the garage. Finally, between these two rooms, there is a small, covered porch for an additional entrance into the home.

   Then the Inside

First, once inside, a reach-in closet is on your left. The laundry room is on your right, as is the powder room. Next, on the same side, stairs go up to the second floor. Another set of stairs (with a door) goes down to the wine cellar. Then, on your left, a door goes outside to the terrace by the two-car garage, as mentioned above. Next, you walk into the breakfast room and kitchen.

The breakfast room faces the backyard. It also has a door to go onto the back terrace. The kitchen is expansive. There is room enough for two islands, one which houses the stovetop. Closer to the front of the home, the kitchen extends with a butler’s pantry (sink included) and a walk-in pantry. To the left of the pantry, you will find the office. Finally, to the right, a reach-in closet is housed under the stairs.

   More of the First Floor

First, entering from the front portico and then the foyer, the formal dining room is on your left. It has a door that opens into the butler’s pantry. On your right, the study has a diamond-shaped coffered ceiling. A fireplace is on the right wall. Then, walking forward in the foyer, stairs going up are on your left.

The gallery leads to the second powder room right around the corner in the opposite direction. Next, walking towards the back of the home, you find yourself in the family room. A fireplace is on the right wall, with counters and cabinets on both sides. Finally, two doors in the family room go out onto the terrace, as seen in the rear elevation below.

   Master Suite and Bath

First, in the master suite (on the far wall), there is a third fireplace. A door on the left here goes to the terrace while the door on the right goes onto the patio. Next, there are two walk-in closets. There are two toilets in the master bath, both enclosed. The master bath also has a luxurious soaking tub. Near this tub there is one sink. The second sink is on the other side of a double-sided walk-in shower. This configuration allows one person to “claim” one side as his or hers. Finally, there are two cabinets in here (one on each side) for your bathroom supplies.

    The Second Floor

First, there are four bedroom suites upstairs. Each suite has its own walk-in closet. Suites 2 and 3 are on the right side of the home. They share a bath that has two sinks, an enclosed toilet and a bathtub/shower combination. This bath has a bonus, too-it also gives you attic access. Then, suite 4 has its own bath, which has a single toilet, sink and a walk-in shower.

Next, suite 5 has its own bath, similar to the one shared by the right-sided suites. It only has one sink. However, this suite has its own sitting room. There are three “future” rooms on the left side of the second floor. The future billiards room is at the back. The future game room is next, with the possibility of an added kitchen. Finally, the future media room is at the forefront.

   Conclusion

With slightly more than 5000 square feet, you and your family could have room to spread out, room to entertain and to be entertained. The future rooms upstairs and multiple outdoor spaces make this possible. Ready to purchase the Tarrington plan? Be sure to click on the green button on this page that says add to cart.
