The Sturbridge Plan, where Tradition Meets Quality, is a traditional home by Living Concepts. It has 2842 square feet of well-planned design. If you believe that you cannot possibly fit your desires for your new home in this space, let me show you why you need to look again. Tradition and quality walk hand in hand here.
The two-car garage is on the right. Three columns adorn the front covered porch while architectural quoins add interest to the corners of the outside brick walls. Inside, there are three bedrooms, three full baths and one powder room in the two-story home.

The First Floor- Living and Dining
First, when you enter from the front porch, the living room is on your left. Think of this room as a more formal living room, a place to relax and read perhaps. Possibly even without television (gasp!). Or you could do this, instead- the frame tv. You’ll get to enjoy your favorite artwork when not listening to the news.
Then, stairs that go up to the second floor are on your left. Straight ahead is the formal dining room. Next, the foyer leads to a reach-in closet, left side, and a powder room on the right. Walking straight ahead again, you will find yourself in the family room. A fireplace is on the far wall.

The First Floor- Breakfast and Kitchen
Then, to the right of the family room, there is the breakfast room. Both of these rooms open up to the outside. The family room opens up onto the screened porch while the breakfast room’s door leads to the deck.

The First Floor- Breakfast and Kitchen
Walking towards the front of the home from the breakfast room, you enter the kitchen. A kitchen peninsula and an island (not shown here) will give you plenty of meal-preparation workspace.
Then, a reach-in pantry is right around the corner. A reach-in closet is nearby, as well as the laundry room. Also close by is the door going into the garage.

First Floor- the Master Suite
First, the master suite is on the left side of the home. From here, a door to the screened porch allows you to step outside and enjoy your morning tea or coffee while being protected from insects. Or larger (thinking squirrels, perhaps).
Then, the master bath has two single sinks, separated by a door, plus a walk-in shower, an enclosed toilet and a soaking tub as seen below.
Finally, a large walk-in closet has plenty of room for your summer running shoes as well as your winter coats. Now let’s go upstairs.

The Second Floor
First, upstairs you have a bonus room and two bedroom suites. The bonus room is over the garage, on the right side, and has two skylights plus its own reach-in closet. You might ask- what is the advantage of having a bonus room? There are various possibilities for this space.
Strategically place a few large bean bags here and you have extra sleeping room. After all, the bathroom is nearby. Perhaps you need the space for youngsters to run and play, especially on rainy days. There is plenty of room for that, too.
Then, each bedroom suite has its own bath and a walk-in closet. The baths are similar with a single sink, shower/bathtub and toilet.

Conclusion
Though less than 3000 square feet, the Sturbridge plan will give you room to spread out (covered porch, deck, bonus room) or to converge (dining room, breakfast room, kitchen). It is the traditional home that should meet your needs and check all the “desires” on your list. When you are ready to purchase the plan, be sure to click on the green box, right side, that says add to cart, and get ready to make this home yours!
