The Kelston Plan: French Country by Living Concepts includes 4993 square feet with two stories plus a basement, four bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two powder rooms. This home is meant both to be seen and to see out of. Its views are majestic, so careful planning on your chosen lot is a must.

The front elevation reveals stone with brick on the exterior.  A two-car garage is on the left. The roofline is a steep one, with a cupola on the left and an eyebrow window on the right.

The rear elevation above shows a dramatic side of the house, too. An open terrace and screened-in porch are above while a covered terrace is below. Two more eyebrow windows are on either side of the roof. Let’s explore the house starting with the basement.

   The Basement

First, after walking down the stairs, you face the powder room. Then, to your right, there is a door leading to mechanical storage plus plenty of room for additional belongings. Next, the guest suite is adjacent to this bathroom. Inside this suite, there is a walk-in closet. Its bath includes a small linen closet, a single sink, a toilet, and a bathtub/shower combination.

Then, back in the open space of the basement, a fireplace on the right wall anchors the recreation room. You will have enough room for your billiards table or perhaps, table tennis. Two doors from here go out onto the covered terrace, where the built-in barbecue grill on the left will be used often.

Next, the elevator is to the left of the stairs. Finally, there is a wet bar to the left of the elevator. There is room for seating at the bar as well as for your dishwasher and icemaker.

   The First Floor

First, from the portico or porch, you enter the home. Stairs going up are straight ahead. Turn left, though, to enter the formal dining room. Then, on your right, there are more stairs. These go down into the basement. The elevator is on your right while the powder room is on your left.

Next, the two-car garage is on your left. Upon entering the home from the garage, a reach-in closet is on the right. The laundry room, which includes a utility sink, is on the left. The mudroom here has room for a bench, too. Finally, the office is also on your left. Built-in cabinets and a desk will make working here a breeze.

  More on the First Floor

First, the kitchen and great room extend nearly the width of the home. There are two walk-in pantries in the kitchen, one in each corner of the left side. A large island leaves room for seating. Then, the kitchen has a door that goes into the screened porch, which has a built-in fireplace/grill on the left side.

Next, there is a door from the screen porch on its right side that goes onto the open terrace. The great room has its own fireplace on the right side. Shelves are on both sides. Finally, a door from the great room opens onto the open terrace.

   The Master Suite and Bath

First, from the foyer, you turn right, entering a short hall. A reach-in closet is here on the right. On the left, the door goes into the master suite. In here, there is a vaulted ceiling (one which angles upward). Then, a door from the master suite goes onto the terrace.

Walking towards the front, however, there are two walk-in closets on the left. Another door leads into the master bath. There is a small linen closet here. Next, there are two sinks, one on the right wall and the second one on the left wall. Finally, there is a walk-in shower, soaking tub and an enclosed toilet.

   The Second Floor

First, the elevator on the second floor is right next to the stairs and in the loft. There are two bedroom suites on this floor. Both suites have a walk-in closet. Additionally, both suites have a bathroom that includes a single sink, a bathtub/shower combination and a toilet. Finally, at the far-right end of the loft, there is a door that leads to attic storage.
