The Ashcrest Plan: Elegant, Spacious by Living Concepts is a Craftsman home of 6622 square feet that includes a basement, first and second floor. Whether you have a large family or a small one, this plan is designed for you to entertain inside and outside, as well as to work and sleep in elegant spaces. Two garages, a single one tucked back on the right side, as well as the two-car garage on the front, right side, give you plenty of room to store your vehicles. There are five bedroom suites and other rooms that are a must-see. Finally, the exterior of the home could be stone and cedar shingles, as seen in the elevation below.

Then again, perhaps you would like cedar siding and stone accents, as seen below. Your home, your choice!

Now you are ready to explore the home beginning with the basement.

The Ashcrest Plan: Elegant, Spacious
The Basement
First, there is mechanical storage in the right corner of the basement. Outdoor storage is on the left side, with additional storage available when you walk towards the front of the home. Then, the door from storage leads you into the spacious, open basement. On the left, the optional elevator is strategically placed. Next, beside the elevator, the fifth bedroom suite has a modest walk-in closet and its own bath with a single sink, toilet and walk-in shower. It also has a door leading out to the covered terrace. The bath also has a place for you to store extra linens.
Then, the recreation room is in the center of the basement. It has a fireplace with available shelves on both sides and a door going onto the terrace. The wet bar is nearby. Its peninsula has seating and includes space for a double sink. Next, Behind the bar, you will discover space for your wine storage. The powder room is next to the wine storage.

The Rest of the Basement
Then, on the right side of the basement, stairs go up to the first floor. Next, the billiards room offers plenty of space to avoid those dings on the wall from pool cues.

The office is closed off but it does have a door going outside. Finally, the covered terrace, as seen below, offers protection from wind and rain when you are entertaining outdoors.

The First Floor
First, we enter from the two-car garage. The powder room is on the left while the laundry room is on the right. The mud room gives you a chance to drop your shoes, whether you enter the home from this garage or the single one, which is also on the right side. A reach-in closet is here, too, as well as a door going outside.

Then, walking towards the back of the home, there are two cabinets on the left side. On the right, two sets of stairs (one up, one down) await you. Next is your walk-in kitchen pantry. This room is simply waiting for you to fill it with your cooking and baking essentials. The kitchen, breakfast and keeping rooms are next, all on the right side of the home. The kitchen has a large island with seating. The breakfast room has built-in banquette seating. It is in one of two turrets on this floor. Finally, the keeping room, pictured below, has its own fireplace, one of three on this floor.

More of the First Floor
First, when entering from the covered porch, stairs going up are to your left in the foyer. On your right is the formal dining room. Then, on your left, you will find the study. It has a fireplace with optional shelves on either side. (I say, load them up with murder mysteries! Or gardening books, poetry, or treasures you simply like to gaze upon).

Next, we walk from the dining room into the gallery or (open) hall. The family room is straight ahead. It has a fireplace on the left wall which, like the one in the study, has room for shelves or cabinets on both sides. A few more steps and you are on the covered lanai. Finally, a designated space for your grill completes this space, as seen in the photo below.

The Master Suite and Bath
First, when you walk from the gallery towards the left side of the home, there is another powder room. The assigned space for the optional elevator is adjacent to the powder room. Then, walk into the master suite. This area includes a sitting room in a turret, like the breakfast room. There is also a door out to the covered lanai.
Next, the exercise room is in the far-left corner. (Smart, right? Next to the master bath). The amply sized walk-in closet is to the right. It has a divider that (should) keep his and her items separated. Finally, the master bath has a soaking tub, a walk-in shower, two sinks, and an enclosed toilet. There is also cabinet space for extra toiletries.

The Second Floor
First, upstairs on the second floor, there are three more bedroom suites. Each suite has its own bath and walk-in closet. Like the master suite, the bedrooms at the back of the home (suites #2 and #3) have a sitting room. Suites #2 and #4 have a shower/bathtub combination, a single sink and a toilet. On the right side, suite # 2 also has access to extra towel and bathroom necessities with storage in the bathroom as well as a closet nearby.

Then, suite #3’s bath has a walk-in shower, rather than a shower/bathtub combination like the other two upstairs baths. Finally, the optional elevator is located right by suite #3.
