Remington: Lakefront Traditional by Living Concepts is a one-story traditional home with 2640 square feet. There are three bedrooms and two full baths, with one half-bath. A bonus room is conveniently situated above the two-car garage.

As seen here, the Remington has a smooth stucco exterior with cornices added for architectural interest. Remember, the cornice is decorative molding around a door, window or even where two outside walls join. And yes, this home can be built on a lake. Or in the woods- your home, your choice, right?

A Full First Floor
The Remington may be a one-story home, but do not think that this is a simple bungalow. This home has much to offer, all on the same floor. For example, the two-car garage has an outside door on the left side. Then, walking inside the home, there is a small reach-in closet on your right. The powder room is tucked into that same side. There are two bedrooms on the left side of the home.
For older children (college bound, for example), this is the perfect set up. Close to the kitchen and the garage. Of course, guests would embrace this as well. Both bedrooms have ample reach-in closets and they share a bath. Inside the bath, you will find a linen closet, toilet, bathtub/shower combination and two sinks. Suite #3 has an additional closet. This one is a reach-in, and it is under the stairs going up to the bonus room.

And Even More
Next, after the powder room, the dining room is on the right. Its tray ceiling adds depth to the room. To the right of the dining room, the foyer and grand room provide a large, open space that reaches from the loggia (or front porch) all the way to the back of the home. Then, to the left of the grand room, there are three rooms that also blend into each other. First, the kitchen houses an angular island. There is room for the dishwasher as well as the double sink. A pantry is on the right side in the breakfast room.
Then, the keeping room is to the left. It includes a fireplace. Both the breakfast room and the grand room have a door going out onto the covered porch.

Finally, the photo above gives a better understanding of the porch and how this outdoor space is ideal for entertaining or relaxing.

The Master Suite and Bath
Plus, the Bonus Room
The master suite and bath consume the entire right side of the home. First, from the foyer, you turn right. Immediately on your right, there is a reach-in closet. Straight ahead, a niche gives you a place to showcase a special memento from a recent trip. Turn left, and you are in the master suite. Like the dining room, it also has a tray ceiling. A sitting area is at the far end. This section is large enough for a comfy chair and end table. Plus, books, of course.
Amble towards the front of the home, and another reach-in closet is on the right. Two walk-in closets are on the left side. Finally, the master bath includes two sinks (separated), an enclosed toilet, a walk-in shower and a soaking tub.

The stairs that are adjacent to the bathroom on the left side take you to the bonus room. More than 300 square feet is available for a room of fun! A billiards table, a tennis table or a video gaming room are all possibilities. Another advantage to the upstairs is the access to attic storage.
