A door in the bathroom leads to a very fair-sized storage space.  See, this is a great second home with room for all you want and need.

If you decide you need office space, a desk, or a hobby area, you can put a Murphy bed in one room.  Keep the bed put away most of the time, and you have the space you need when you need it.
