Hi, I’m Charlemagne, also known as plan G-4816. I am a French Country and European style home created by Frank Snodgrass. I am a beautifully designed two-story home with 4,800 sq. feet, featuring four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. I am especially fond of my arches, which are all over my exterior. You see the ‘inquisitive look’ above the dormer windows above the garage, the garage doors, the front-facing window, and the double-door front entry. This nice, fluid, soft shape is charming as a contrast to my brick and stone exterior.

Welcome In –
My double-door entry is grand, but not boisterous – it’s a ‘big’ welcoming feel, and you will never tire of it. The foyer would like to welcome you with a soft rug, a round table, and a floral arrangement.
To the right of the foyer is the dining room. This is your space, so use it as you wish. Is this a fancy, formal room, or casual, and does it fit a larger table than the kitchen for meals and gatherings? Make it work for you.

Main Suite
You find your day beginning and ending in my well-designed main suite. Located on the entire right side of the home, this space is ample and features a lot of wall space for interesting wallpaper, soothing paint colors, great artwork, and your favorite pieces of furniture. I want you to enjoy your own space in the bathroom, so there are two vanities with single sinks. I hope you use the deep-soaking tub for deserved relaxation. The separate shower is for easy daily cleaning.
If you enjoy clothes, shoes, and more, then this is the closet for you. There is plenty of room for shelves, as well as an island with drawers for storing jewelry, socks, and more. This is a welcoming main bedroom, so make the most of it.

Family Room and Terrace
Across from the dining room and foyer is a large family room. I am delighted to offer you such an excellent space for family and friends to enjoy. I’m a big fan of my coffered ceiling; it adds warmth and personality to the room. The fireplace also adds warmth, and the built-in shelves next to it add life – books, small sculptures, pictures – what lights you up and adds life here?
There is a door leading out to the spacious outdoor terrace. You will surely enjoy good times outside with a terrace like this one. The terrace reaches all the way to the screened porch off the kitchen and eating area. You will love spending time in the best of both worlds – al fresco terrace and a screen porch.

Kitchen and Eating Area
I like having the open area to the family room. This kitchen features a sink/counter area with ample room for tall barstools. The ‘island’ of the sink/counter space looks right into the family room, so you don’t miss a thing if you are entertaining. What’s nice, too, is that there is a separate island for meal prep. I know you’re going to appreciate the pantry because it will hold cookbooks, cleaning supplies, staple foods, and leave room for pots/pans and gadgets that you need, but don’t often use. Enjoy!

Leaving the kitchen and heading toward the garage, there are stairs that I’ve tucked away, making a U-shape to the upstairs. Just across the stair access is a great butler’s pantry. Fancy, right? I know you’d like this. Make your drinks, warm appetizers, and keep your extra set (or two) of dishes in here – there’s really space for meeting daily needs and entertaining large gatherings. Beyond the stairs is a powder room, an ample storage space, a large laundry room with a utility sink and closet, and doors that lead outside and to your three-car garage.

Upstairs
Now, I couldn’t be just a fabulous main floor to live in, and I hope you’ll agree that this second story does not disappoint either. I’m rather impressed with it. Aside from three suites, note that all three have walk-in closets AND a full bathroom. Impressive right?
Ok, so that’s good ‘cake’, let’s talk ‘icing’. If you want or need ‘escape’ space for book club gatherings, a man-cave, hobbies, an office, or practicing a musical instrument, send the teens away to be noisy, or a cozy room for reading, napping, or watching movies on a large screen – you’re sure to use my library/study space up here. Above the garage is a huge bonus room. This space could be really nice for short-term or long-term live-in guests or family.
