Birchcrest – Main Floor Living

Birchcrest is an ideal home for a growing family, a couple, or one who lives life alone. This Living Concepts abode is welcoming and warm and offers plenty of space for any occasion.  This home is 5000 square feet of living with five bedrooms, four full and one half bath in a combo European and Traditional plan style.

Birchcrest – Welcome

Birchwood’s roofline is very European, and the arched windows are stately and lovely. While this home has an exposed lower level, all your living is convenient and comfortable on the main floor.

The foyer leads to a gathering room with a fireplace.  Ready to make great memories?  This is the place to start.  Before you sit and watch a movie, laugh with your best friends or binge White Lotus, head to your kitchen and make some snacks, or warm soup and bread.

Birchcrest – Kitchen and Eating Area

The kitchen is U-shaped with a center island.  You’ll appreciate the corner pantry for staples and storing cleaning supplies.  The eating area bumps out from the house and is the best place for banquette seating and a round table.

A passageway from the kitchen passes the stairwell to the lower level and a powder room just before you get to the dining room.

Birchcrest – Suites, Laundry and Away You Go

The right side of the house includes bedroom suites, laundry, and garage.  There are two bedrooms with a Jack-n-Jill bathroom (which connects each bedroom). The laundry room has a lot of room for efficient placement of cabinets, and even a ‘pet safety zone’ for the pet that needs a ‘getaway’ sometimes.  Just outside the laundry room are two closets, one for hanging coats and the other for storing bed and bath linens.

Now step down and into your two-car garage.  There is a utility door that leads to the outside.  What’s special about this garage is the storage area inside.  You can set up your woodworking, gardening, or hobby here, or, if you are just messy with your tools, you can close the double doors and hide it all.

Birchcrest – Main Suite

I know you’ll like this main bedroom suite. It encompasses the entire left side of the house. With a door to the deck outside, you can enjoy quiet nights or mornings with a cup of coffee. This room is long and has the same angular bump-out as the kitchen.  You can build a window seat or find a comfortable chaise because this area is perfect for either.

There is a walk-in closet just before the main bathroom.  You’ll appreciate the bathroom as there is plenty of space for two.  With separate sinks, a separate shower and soaking tub, as well as a separate room for the commode, this space is all you could want.  There is another closet in the bathroom for linens, extra toiletries, and cleaning supplies.

Leaving the main bedroom, and to the left of the foyer is an office space.  This room has the unique feature of pocket doors instead of a typical door.  Imagine beautiful stained-glass in the doors for color and hidden charm, as well as giving you privacy when you need it.

Birchcrest – Lower Level

Across from the dining room are the stairs to your exposed lower level.  This lower level is perfect for aging parents or family members to live, where your college kid comes home or for indulging in your hobby.

A large rec room, with a fireplace, wants a comfy, durable sectional sofa and large screen tv for sports games or dramatic film watching.  You can entertain your girlfriends for book club or spa-night sleepovers here and not disturb anyone upstairs.  The bar area can also fit a regular refrigerator and stove.

You’ll love all the storage down here, especially since it is also accessible from the outdoors.

There is a fourth bedroom here besides a large room for exercising or another hobby. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a walk-in closet.

You’ll love the covered veranda outside because it’s perfect for a hot tub.  Or, if your backyard is ideal, put in a pool.  A door, conveniently leading from the veranda to a second bathroom, means no dripping or mess is made traipsing through the house.

See, Birchcrest is all you need—great living on the main floor and extra living and entertaining in the lower level. This impressive home will provide years of memories for a family, a couple, or a single person. Call Living Concepts; they are here for you.
