Belsay: European Splendor

Belsay: European Splendor belongs (perhaps) in a wooded lot that reminds you of travels taken or an adventure planned in the near future. This two-story home by Living Concepts includes a basement. In 5503 square feet, the home has five bedrooms, four full baths and one half-bath.

The front elevation above displays an exterior of stone and stucco. The arching front door complements the arches of most windows. The three-car garage is on the left side. Curious about the basement? Let’s go explore!

   The Basement

The stairs are mid-basement. Under the stairs, a reach-in closet provides extra storage. Mechanical storage is tucked away into the left corner. Then, in the right corner of the basement, you will find the guest suite. It includes a walk-in closet and a bath with a single sink, toilet and a bathtub/shower combination. A linen closet is nearby, also.

Then, the recreation room here has a fireplace on the right and a wet bar on the left. Shelves are on both sides of the fireplace. The bar includes room for a double sink as well as a dishwasher. The L-shaped peninsula makes it easy to pull up a chair and relax with your favorite cold one. Or coffee. Your home, your choice!

   The First Floor

In front of the three-car garage, there is an optional trellis with a lower flower box. If you are a florophile (a serious flower lover), you will want to fill this spot with the colors you adore. The garage even has a storage room inside. Locked? You choose! Entry to the main floor is through a door on the left side. Once inside, there is a reach-in closet ahead and the laundry room on your left.

Then, you step into the breakfast room. A banquette in the corner or a small round table in the middle will offer cozy seating for you and your family. The breakfast room has a door on the right to the covered lanai. This room is also open to the kitchen. A long island houses a sink and is perfect for casual seating. The butler’s pantry is nearby. So, too, are the stairs for both the basement and the second floor.

The family room, on the right side of the home, is also part of this large open area. Like the basement, it has a fireplace on the right wall with shelves or cabinets on both sides. Another (smaller) bar is tucked between the family room and the study. A powder room is nearby, too. A reach-in closet is next to the powder room. Finally, across from the study and the foyer, the more formal dining room provides the space for meals that might require more decorum.

   The Second Floor

First, upstairs, there are three more bedroom suites and the master suite. All suites have their own walk-in closet. Suite 2, at the far right, has its own bath, while the other two smaller bedrooms share a bath. The bath for suite 2 includes a small linen closet, toilet, a single sink and a bathtub/shower combination. A larger linen closet is close by. The bath that is shared includes an enclosed toilet, a single sink and a walk-in shower. There is also a small linen closet.

Finally, the master suite and bath are at the back left corner of this floor. The master suite is almost 320 square feet of luxury. There are two walk-in closets. In the master bath, another linen closet is offered for convenience. Finally, the master bath has an enclosed toilet, two sinks, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower.
