One of the best parts of Abbington is that she lets you see right into her soul if you have the right view. The entire back of the house is lit and light from a tall wall of windows.

Foyer, Dining Room, & Study
Into your lovely home, a soft area rug and a small round table with a cool sculpture might greet you. Your dining room is ready for Friday night pizza and Sunday brunch meals. With a gorgeous, coffered ceiling and a warm fireplace, working in your study won’t feel like work for long. The front windows will bring the outdoors in and this will be a lovely space to be happily productive in.

Great Room and Terrace
From the foyer, ‘the great relaxation’ (Great Room) is straight ahead. The stairs to the second floor are to the right and share a wall with the dining room. A second fireplace is here for cool days and nights. It will add ambiance for sports game watching, evening entertaining, or for the quiet times you want to curl up with a book and read. This is a great room for sure.
Two doors from this room lead to a large, open-air terrace. A table for dining, pots bursting with fresh herbs and flowers and a sun chair for soaking up some vitamin D will be perfect out here.

Kitchen, Eating area, Laundry and Garage
The kitchen is open to the great room. Now you won’t miss anything, whether you are entertaining a crowd or watching the news. A nice bonus is the pantry in the corner of the kitchen.
The eating area is nice and bright from the wall of windows surrounding it. This seems to be an ideal place for banquette seating.
The island is large and has space for barstools. If you’re a baker, you’ll appreciate all the counter space for cooling cookies during big holiday bakes.
Between the kitchen and garage is a large laundry room. There is a utility sink and a long wall for a drying rack or shelves.
Step down into your two-car garage. A nook with a utility door is a space that can be used for a big storage cabinet, build a workbench, or hang shelves.

Main Bedroom Suite
Your main bedroom is conveniently located on the first floor, using most of the area on the left side of the house. This is a haven to enjoy, indeed. A spacious sitting room nestles into a bayed area at the back of the house. I think you will spend enjoyable time here, reading, catching up with friends on the phone, and having morning coffee. The bedroom area has long walls, ideal for dressers with mirrors.
Have you been dreaming of a spa bathroom? Well, get busy and plan that dream. Using soft blues, greys, creamy colors, and live greenery, this bathroom is sure to be calming. Not only do you have a separate space for the commode, but the soaking tub sits in a corner and a glass shower borders it. Two single-sink vanities keep your space ‘yours’ and a linen closet keeps towels and extra toiletries handy. There is so much floor space here, think about what beautiful tile can enhance the mood you want.

Upstairs
Whether or not you have kids at home, away at college, or grown, this is an upstairs space that will be appreciated. There are three large bedrooms up here, one has its own full bath and walk-in closet. The other two share a bath, one bedroom has immediate access to it, the other bedroom is across the hall. Rounding out this upstairs is a bonus room with access to attic storage spaces. You know what hobbies you have or would like to have up here. A treadmill and rowing machine can co-exist next to soft, comfy recliners where you’ll binge White Lotus on a big screen tv. Your world, make it a happy place.
